Job Title: General Support Teaching Assistant - KS1

We are working with a primary school in the M24 area who are seeking a talented individual to provide exciting, educational experiences to pupils across KS1. The school prides itself on delivering the curriculum in a confident, positive and structured manner which caters for the individual child, and they work closely with parents to ensure pupils develop a responsible and independent attitude towards work and their roles in society.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position, 8.30am-3.30pm, term time only until the end of the academic year. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/ Level 3 education-based qualification) however not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the class teacher throughout the school day, monitor and record pupil's progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
  • Work with children on a small group and 1:1 basis during core and foundation subjects including Maths, English, Phonics and Guided Reading.
  • Uphold the school ethos and implement relevant policies including behaviour.

This role would be perfect for someone who has prior teaching assistant experience or is a recent graduate looking for experience in the education sector.
