About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilot to join our team at Virgin Atlantic Airways. As a Pilot, you will be responsible for operating our Airbus fleet, ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers, and contributing to the success of our flight operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Airbus aircraft safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Lead and manage a team of pilots, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent performance and teamwork.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of technical knowledge and expertise, staying up-to-date with the latest aircraft systems and technologies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless flight operations, including planning, scheduling, and maintenance.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of safety procedures and protocols, ensuring a culture of safety and excellence within the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1500 hours of flight time as a First Officer, with a maximum take-off mass of not less than 10 tonnes or a certificated passenger seating configuration of more than 19 passengers.
  • Current and Qualified on the A320, A330, or A350.
  • Hold a current UK Class One Medical.
  • Unfrozen ATPL licence issued by the UK CAA, with a valid type rating when joining us.
  • The ability to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in English (certified as ICAO level 6 English Proficiency when applying).
