Overview:
We are collaborating with a mainstream secondary educational institution seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support Assistant. This role is pivotal in assisting students with special educational requirements, ensuring they receive the tailored support necessary for their academic success.

Role Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to SEN students, focusing on their individual needs.
- Engage in occasional personal care, including wheelchair handling and transfers.
- Employ effective behaviour management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement support plans.

Key Qualifications:
- Experience working with SEN students in an educational setting.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Training or willingness to engage in personal care and wheelchair handling.
- Relevant educational qualifications (University degree or A Level).
- Previous experience in child-related roles is advantageous.
- Professional demeanor with a friendly and enthusiastic approach.
