Job Title: Chief Systems Engineer

Leonardo is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering leadership, you will be responsible for guiding our systems engineering teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality systems engineering solutions.

About the Role

The Chief Systems Engineer will act as the focal point for systems engineering governance, ensuring that our systems engineering capability is aligned with the company's strategic objectives. You will provide technical leadership and guidance to our systems engineering teams, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver complex systems engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to systems engineering teams
  • Develop and implement systems engineering strategies and plans
  • Ensure that systems engineering teams have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver complex projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that systems engineering solutions meet customer needs
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with systems engineering projects
  • Develop and maintain systems engineering processes and procedures
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to systems engineering teams
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure that systems engineering solutions are integrated with other engineering disciplines
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in systems engineering leadership roles
  • Strong technical skills in systems engineering
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in developing and implementing systems engineering strategies and plans
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with systems engineering projects
  • Experience in developing and maintaining systems engineering processes and procedures
