About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Supportability Engineer to join our team at Babcock International Group. As a Supportability Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of the MoD Type 31 Frigate Project.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct system and equipment decomposition to identify areas for improvement
- Support the delivery of system, equipment, and class supportability and reliability analysis
- Support the reliability-centered maintenance program to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Develop and maintain reliability and maintainability plans and case reports
Requirements
- Background in Marine Engineering, process, plant, or automotive industry engineering
- Prior experience in complex systems supportability analysis and maintainability techniques
- Ability to work in a multi-discipline team environment
- Strong written communication skills to deliver well-structured technical documentation and reports
Qualifications
- Degree or HNC qualified in an engineering discipline (mechanical, marine, electrics/electronics, or systems) or relevant experience
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
