About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assessor to join our team at RISE WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS LTD. As a Medical Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing how individuals' disabilities or conditions affect their work life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take detailed medical histories and perform physical examinations to assess an individual's functional capacity.
  • Produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) based on your clinical expertise.
  • Connect with individuals both face-to-face and via telephone/video, ensuring a compassionate and sensitive approach.
  • Work independently but as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team, giving you the time and support needed to deliver precise assessments.
Requirements
  • NMC Level 1 Registered Nurse with a minimum of 12 months broad-based clinical post-registration experience within the past 5 years.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • IT proficiency and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Self-aware, honest, empathetic, and motivated to provide quality customer service.
  • Ready to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
