Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team of Community Care Assistants in Eastbourne. As a Care Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our service users, which may include:

  • Personal care and hygiene
  • Medication support and management
  • Meal preparation and nutrition
  • Domestic assistance and household management
  • Social activities and companionship

You will work closely with our team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs and preferences of our service users.

Responsibilities

As a Care Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality care and support to service users in their own homes
  • Developing and implementing personalized care plans in collaboration with the care team
  • Assisting with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Managing medication and providing support with medication administration
  • Preparing and serving meals, as well as assisting with household management
  • Engaging in social activities and providing companionship to service users
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle for work purposes
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to care
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
