ESOL Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate ESOL Educator to join our team at the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group. As a key member of our ESOL team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our students.
Key Responsibilities- Teach a range of ESOL courses from Pre-Entry to Level 1, utilizing effective teaching strategies to support student learning.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and resources.
- GCSE A* - C in Maths and English qualifications or equivalent (new grading 9-4) as a minimum.
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area (desirable).
- Level 5 subject specialism (desirable).
- PGCE (desirable).
- Up-to-date knowledge of the ESOL curriculum.
- Knowledge of the principles of teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people, verbally and in writing.
