About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Shunter Driver to join our thriving production facility in Oldham.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and trailers within our site.

Your Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all site safety protocols and conduct thorough safety assessments.
• Masterfully maneuver large vehicles, trailers, and goods throughout the production area.
• Collaborate closely with site management to guarantee seamless loading, unloading, and transportation of materials.
• Conduct meticulous inspections of vehicles and trailers to maintain optimal operational standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in coupling and uncoupling trailers, ensuring secure connections.
• Safely park trailers and facilitate smooth handovers when transferring goods to colleagues.
• Provide support with general yard duties as needed, including operating a forklift truck (training provided if required).

Essential Skills:

A valid Class 1 HGV license is essential for this role. While a Forklift Truck license is advantageous, comprehensive training can be provided.
