Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Unit Supervisor, you will play a vital role in our multidisciplinary team, focusing on the following:
- Ensure the delivery of superior rehabilitation services within the unit.
- Lead the assessment and management of service users, maintaining exemplary standards of clinical care.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff and healthcare assistants.
- Initiate and guide the development of nursing policies, protocols, and service enhancements.
- Utilize advanced clinical skills to assist patients with neurological impairments in achieving maximum independence.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and significant others to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Foster positive working relationships with colleagues, visitors, and members of the multidisciplinary care team.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid NMC Pin registration (RGN).
- The legal right to work in the country.
- A minimum of three years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in a Neuro Rehabilitation environment is advantageous.
- A demonstrated ability to be empathetic, motivating, and supportive to encourage active participation from patients.
