Expectations from Candidates:

- Educational qualifications at GSCE/GCE level in Mathematics and English, or equivalent
- Relevant qualifications such as BTEC diploma in Building Construction or NVQ Level 2
- Possession of a valid CSCS card
- Current driving license
- Experience in residential construction as an assistant site manager, materials controller, or tradesperson
- Thorough understanding of NHBC customer handover protocols
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Ability to manage complaints and navigate challenging situations
- Multi-trade capabilities including carpentry, painting, basic tiling, and plumbing
- General knowledge of construction practices
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
- Team-oriented with a willingness to work extra hours when necessary
Desirable Qualifications:
- NVQ Levels 3 & 4 in customer service
- Progress towards or completion of an ONC/HND in Construction
- Completion of internal development programs
- Demonstrated career progression within the construction sector
- Relevant industry training (CDM, first aid, scaffold appreciation, etc.)
- Understanding of building regulations and legal responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize weekly job sheets to organize and plan work schedules
- Submit completed job sheets to coordinators promptly
- Maintain professional identification while visiting clients
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all administrative tasks
- Support site teams as required
- Act as a primary contact for reported issues
- Address all reported defects efficiently and professionally
- Communicate with clients as necessary
- Ensure availability of materials before commencing work
- Report any issues or incomplete tasks to the Customer Care Coordinator
- Notify management of any challenges or need for specialist contractors
- Complete customer defect repairs within a reasonable timeframe
- Conduct visits to client properties with professionalism and courtesy
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a tidy work environment
- Participate in health and safety training as required
