Recruit4staff LTD is excited to present an opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to support a prominent manufacturer in the machining sector, focusing on the South East Region.


Compensation:
Up to £40,000 annually, with additional earnings for overtime beyond 10 hours and a flat rate for weekend or technical support work.
40-hour work week with flexible hours from Monday to Friday.
This is a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs, on-site commissioning, servicing, and calibration of customer check-weighing equipment.
- Execute upgrades and refurbishments at customer locations.
- Address on-site customer inquiries professionally and courteously.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly, adhering to company protocols.
- Provide technical assistance via phone and email as necessary.


Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in a field service engineering role within the food packaging or production sector is essential.
- Familiarity with repairing and maintaining check-weighing machines, multi-head check-weighers, and high-speed precision weighing equipment is desirable.
- A BTECH or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering is essential.
- A valid Driver's License and the ability to travel regionally are required.
