Vehicle Simulation Specialist – Software-in-the-Loop

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Vehicle Simulation Specialist to play a pivotal role in establishing a cutting-edge laboratory and developing software for advanced simulated driving systems.

This position offers a unique chance for an individual with expertise in vehicle simulation to lead a project backed by significant international investment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and oversee Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) testing frameworks for diverse vehicle control systems.
• Integrate control algorithms and software modules supplied by Tier 1 partners into SiL environments.
• Execute SiL simulations to assess control software and strategies across various scenarios.
• Collaborate closely with fellow engineers, including simulation and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) specialists, to ensure thorough and cohesive testing processes.

Required Skills & Experience:
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in developing and managing SiL systems for chassis control systems (including Brake, Steering, Suspension, and Powertrain).
• Demonstrated experience with simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, IPG CarMaker, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with vehicle network simulation and analysis tools, including CANoe.
• Proficient in real-time simulation, model-based design, and control system development.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, and Python.
