About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our manufacturing support business area, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, effectiveness, and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Process Development and Implementation: Develop and implement robust and repeatable manufacturing processes to drive continuous improvements and address quality issues throughout the manufacturing process.
  2. Process Ownership and Responsibility: Take ownership of process/equipment throughout the Value Stream for the product, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration with internal customers.
  3. Equipment Support and Maintenance: Provide machine program and platform support for equipment such as Jet Dispensing systems, 3D SPI, Underfill & Conformal Coating Dispensing systems, and other related equipment.
  4. Rework Process Creation: Develop and implement rework processes for various products, including BGA, BTC, PTH, and other related processes.
  5. Quality Assurance and Control: Conduct X-ray inspections of PTH solder joints to ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 standards.
  6. Engineering Change Notes (ECN's): Implement ECN's to drive process improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  7. Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Analysis: Collaborate with design teams to analyze and improve product designs for manufacturability.
  8. Zero-Defect Quality Levels: Drive zero-defect quality levels to ensure mission assurance and customer satisfaction.
  9. On-Time Delivery Targets: Achieve on-time delivery targets to meet customer expectations.
  10. Manufacturing Data Analysis: Effectively use manufacturing data and analysis techniques to proactively identify and address issues, driving systemic root cause analysis.
  11. Process/Equipment Engineering Metrics: Report and maintain process/equipment engineering metrics, tracking performance and yields against team KPIs and individual goals and objectives.
  12. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvements through the use of best-in-class and world-class manufacturing principles.
  13. Capital Equipment Investment: Lead the justification, selection, implementation, and qualification of new capital manufacturing equipment investments.
Requirements
  1. Education: Minimum of HNC in an electronics-related subject (HND/degree).
  2. Experience: Significant experience in Electronic Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) processes, including Jet Dispensing systems, 3D SPI, Underfill & Conformal Coating Dispensing systems, and other related processes.
  3. Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of SPC, IPC-A-610 guidelines, and analytical engineering skills to process data efficiently and provide solutions to problems.
  4. Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work well within an established engineering team, and strong technical communication skills (verbal and written).
  5. Desirable Qualifications: Experience working in a high-reliability electronic assembly environment, Mycronic My700 experience, Koh 3D SPI experience, Nordson Asymtek experience, PDR/PCBRM experience, and other related qualifications.
