Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at PRS, a leading international data hosting company. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centre's mechanical systems, including power generators, water and cooling systems, and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems, including power generators, water and cooling systems, and HVAC systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and tests to ensure systems are operating within acceptable parameters.
  • Identify and report any issues or defects to the maintenance team leader.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a critical environment such as a data centre or banking facility.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including power generators, water and cooling systems, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
