We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team at Ackerman Pierce Ltd in Brent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support to our Occupational Therapists in the provision of prescribed equipment to meet the needs of our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support to Occupational Therapists in the provision of prescribed equipment, demonstrating and instructing in the safe use of.
  2. Implement action plans with clients/carers and modify plans as necessary.
  3. Teach new techniques to overcome disability.
  4. Recommend minor adaptations to clients' homes.
  5. Identify problems requiring Occupational Therapist or higher level Occupational Therapy Assistant intervention and refer clients where appropriate.
  6. Provide ongoing support to clients/carers in relation to the effects of disability.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience working with adults with disabilities in the community.
  2. Experience working with minor equipment.
  3. Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you).
  4. Eligibility to work in the UK.
