Dental Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Nurse to join our team at Henry Schein Dental Recruitment. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering exceptional services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist dentists and dental therapists in providing dental care to patients, including routine examinations and advanced specialist treatments.
- Monitor and record patient treatment, including baseline charting, clinical treatments, and periodontal charting.
- Undertake reception duties, including greeting patients, answering phone calls, making appointments, and collecting payments.
- Liaise with the dental team, senior leaders, and wider colleagues to maintain the effective running of the dental service.
- Assist with the ordering of general and pharmaceutical supplies and processing documentation for payment.
- Decontaminate and handle instruments contaminated with blood, saliva, and debris in line with infection control guidance.
- GCSEs or equivalent in science subjects.
- Experience in a dental setting, preferably as a dental nurse.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of dental software.
