Audit and Accounts Senior Job Opportunity

Our client, a leading accountancy firm, is seeking a highly skilled Audit and Accounts Senior to join their team in Warrington, Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and ambitious individual to take on a challenging role and contribute to the growth and success of the company.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, ensuring senior staff are informed about progress, and assisting in all areas of an audit from planning through to completion. You will work with a varied portfolio of clients across the north-west, particularly SME, charity, and academy sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
  • Assisting in all areas of an audit from planning through to completion
  • Working with a varied portfolio of clients across the north-west
  • Reporting into seniors/managers
  • Coaching junior members of the organisation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience working in an audit team, exposure to all three aspects of an audit, and experience in coaching junior members. You will also need excellent written and verbal communication skills to build strong client relationships, as well as a good knowledge of accounting software.
