The Role of an Assistant Town Planner
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Town Planner to join our team in Leeds. As an Assistant Town Planner, you will be responsible for supporting our team in the delivery of a wide range of projects, including planning applications and appeals. You will be an active member of the team, working closely with our experienced planners to develop your technical skills and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the team in the delivery of planning applications and appeals
- Assist with advice and guidance on planning matters
- Contribute to the development of planning policies and strategies
- Work closely with colleagues to deliver projects and meet deadlines
Requirements
- Degree or higher in a relevant subject (such as urban planning or geography)
- Understanding of the UK planning system
- Previous experience in a planning role is desirable
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
