Join Volvo Trucks as a HGV Technician

At Volvo Trucks, we're committed to shaping the future of sustainable transportation. As a HGV Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our vehicles meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on HGVs according to manufacturer's procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using Volvo Standard Times and Special Tools.
  • Collaborate with the parts team to ensure accurate replacement parts are fitted to vehicles.
  • Conduct road tests and assist with roadside breakdowns.
  • Ensure accurate time recording and completion of job cards and service sheets.
Requirements
  • City and Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification in HGV maintenance.
  • Completed apprenticeship in HGV industry or equivalent experience.
  • Experience within the commercial vehicle industry.
