Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining materials and supplier databases, conducting materials traceability, and supporting the supplier approval process. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Food Science/Food Technology, experience in a Technical role from within the food industry, and strong IT skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date materials and supplier databases.
  • Conduct regular materials traceability as per schedule.
  • Support the supplier approval process by liaising with the SA Manager/Purchasing team and suppliers.
  • Participate in HACCP, VACCP, and TACCP teams.
  • Liaise with other Technical members to support customer submission forms, finished product specifications, and artwork process for new products.
  • Collaborate with the NPD team to complete relevant technical documentation and activities for product launches.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Food Science/Food Technology.
  • Experience in a Technical role from within the food industry.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Navision.
  • Effective planning and organization skills.
