Position Overview

This role is integral to the operations of First Call Contract Services, where we specialize in the hiring and mobile servicing of aviation ground support equipment. Our collaboration with industry experts allows us to provide exceptional service across various UK airports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to our business clients.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety legislation.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in executing all vehicle mechanical and electrical Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) according to established schedules.
  • Utilize HGV mechanical expertise.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in HGV maintenance.
  • Prior experience with Ground Support Equipment is preferred.
  • 5 years of verifiable work history to qualify for necessary access.
  • Possession of an HGV Class 1 Licence.
  • Relevant qualifications in GSE or motor mechanics (City & Guilds).
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check (CRC) is mandatory.
  • Ability to complete General Security Awareness Training (GSAT) through in-house training.

Employment Details:

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £45,000 per annum plus additional allowances.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, from 06:30 to 18:30.
