Transport Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Premier Work Support.

This is a permanent position with opportunities for career progression for the right candidate.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 6am to 4pm, with the possibility of occasional Saturdays during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure health and safety compliance, including drivers' hours management.
  • Oversee logistics operations, including delivery and receipt of goods, invoices, and documentation.
  • Produce regular reports on costing, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Develop and manage staff rotas.
  • Perform other office and supervisory duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages and ERP systems, such as Sage.
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy is required.
  • Able to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Previous experience in stock management and logistics is essential.
