HVAC Engineer Job Description

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to join their team in the Kent area. As a leading HVAC company, they offer a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of HVAC equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF's, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs, and Cold Rooms.
  • Work with a range of HVAC equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (not essential).
  • Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent.
  • 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas) certification.
  • Full driving license.
  • Experience with service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair.
  • Live in the Kent region.
Benefits:
  • Basic salary up to £42,000.
  • Company van with optional personal use.
  • Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service.
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x.
  • 40-hour working week with travel paid after 30 minutes each way.
  • On-call allowance (1 in 4/5) with guaranteed £1,200.
  • Pension.
  • 22 days' holidays plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.
