About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Night Porter to join our team at Flitwick Manor Hotel, Premier Collection By Best Western. As a Night Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the hotel during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Services: Manage guest requests and ensure they are handled promptly and professionally.
  • Security and Safety: Maintain security and safety procedures during the night shift, performing regular security checks throughout the hotel.
  • Support to Hotel Staff: Provide general support to the hotel staff during the night shift, assisting with any maintenance or housekeeping tasks that may arise.
  • Meetings and Events: Set up meeting rooms and other areas as required, serving food and beverages to guests as needed.
  • Check-in and Check-out: Check guests in and out of the hotel as required, handling any emergency situations that may arise.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports for senior management as required.

Requirements

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working in a hotel or similar environment, preferably in a night porter role.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Safety and Security: A good understanding of safety and security procedures.
  • Adaptability: The ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
