Position Overview
The Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated Consultant in Rehabilitation Psychiatry to enhance our Central Norfolk Rehabilitation for Complex Psychosis Team.

About the Role
This position is integral to the leadership of a multi-disciplinary team, which includes a Consultant Psychiatrist, an AHP lead Occupational Therapist, a Clinical Lead Nurse, and a Lead Psychologist. The team collaborates with various agencies, including Norfolk County Council and several mental health organizations.
The Central Norfolk Rehabilitation for Complex Psychosis service has been developed in alignment with NICE guidelines and is supported by the Royal College of Psychiatry Rehabilitation Faculty. This role is pivotal in the ongoing development of rehabilitation services across the Trust, with plans for expansion in community rehabilitation services and the establishment of a rehabilitation ward.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Leading and supporting the rehabilitation team in delivering high-quality care.
- Contributing to the development of innovative rehabilitation services.
- Engaging in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Registration with the GMC.
- A minimum of 3 years post-registration experience, including 2 years in Psychiatry.
- Experience in a relevant specialism.
Desirable:
- MRCPsych qualification.
- S12 Approval.
- Relevant experience in General Adult Psychiatry.
