Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lawyer to join our team at BCL Legal In-House as an In-House Counsel. This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Contracts Attorney to work on high-value commercial contracts, collaborate with key stakeholders, and deliver training to the business on key areas of commercial law.

About the Role:

  • Draft and negotiate high-value commercial contracts, including supply contracts, SLAs, IT contracts, and council contracts.
  • Collaborate with various key stakeholders within the business to deliver commercial contracts and other legal matters.
  • Deliver training to the business on key areas of commercial law and assist on other legal matters, including GDPR and employment disputes.

Requirements:

  • A Commercial Contracts Lawyer with NQ-2 PQE experience (CILEX qualified lawyers are encouraged to apply).
  • Previous experience gained in-house, either post-qualification or gained through a secondment at a law firm. Candidates with good in-house experience as a paralegal will also be considered.
  • Confident, self-starter, and able to integrate themselves within a close-knit team.
