Personal Injury Solicitor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solicitor to join our Personal Injury team in Oxford. As a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality legal advice to clients in a commercially astute manner while providing outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with a team on a caseload of high-value clinical negligence and personal injury cases under supervision.
  • Engage directly with clients to take instructions and ensure a full understanding to meet client expectations.
  • Develop client relationship skills by collaborating closely with partners and senior lawyers.
  • Raise your personal profile and attract delegated work.
  • Take responsibility for aspects of business development projects within the department.
  • Research and draft articles, and assist with the production of marketing materials.
  • Develop a network of clients, contacts, and potential referrers by attending relevant networking events.
  • Manage time recording, work-in-progress monitoring, and billing consistently on files and matters.
  • Contribute to fee forecasting.
  • Work towards personal and team KPIs, measuring performance against these.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with NQ-2 years of PQE.
  • Previous experience in clinical negligence and personal injury matters is essential.
  • Urdu language skills are preferable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on high-value cases.
  • Strong client management skills with a focus on delivering excellent client service.
  • Organized and capable of effectively prioritizing tasks.
