Position Overview: Event Production Specialist
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £35,000 - £37,000 per annum
Location: West London

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the college's event calendar, which includes open days, exhibitions, presentations, briefings, performances, and immersive experiences.
  • Manage both small-scale and large-scale events from inception to completion, utilizing strong project management skills.
  • Research and source competitive quotes, identifying the best suppliers and venues based on quality and cost. Maintain communication with all vendors, including external partners, to ensure exceptional service and successful event execution.
  • Plan on-site logistics to provide an optimal experience for attendees while adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with communications, marketing, and branding teams to ensure effective promotion of each event. Lead the coordination of timelines for invitation design, communications, and media relations.
  • Develop event schedules and brief all relevant teams in advance and on-site to ensure cohesive teamwork and successful event delivery.
  • Be available to oversee events that may occur outside of standard working hours, taking charge on-site to ensure the event's success and delivering outstanding customer service to guests.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with and adherence to safeguarding legislation, ensuring best practices are integrated into all operations.
  • Extensive experience in an event-related role, preferably within the education sector.
  • Proven ability to work with various internal and external stakeholders while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong IT proficiency, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
