Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a complex civil works project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Health and Safety Standards: Ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel and subcontractors.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks and Briefings: Provide regular safety briefings and toolbox talks to site personnel.
- Procure Plant and Materials: Source and procure plant and materials through our company platform.
- Manage Workforce and Subcontractors: Oversee the management of the workforce, labour, and subcontractors.
- Assist in Safety Planning: Assist in the completion of Safety Plans, RAMS, and COSHH.
- Maintain Site Records: Maintain accurate site record keeping, including diaries, allocation sheets, plant returns, and goods received notes.
- Oversee Subcontractors: Ensure subcontractors comply with their check sheets.
- Coordinate Site Operations: Coordinate with site operatives and subcontractors to keep the project on schedule.
- Ensure RAMS and Permit to Work: Ensure a Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) and a Permit to Work system are in place before work commences.
Requirements:
- Professional Qualifications: Hold a First Aid certificate, CSCS Card, Driving Licence, and SMSTS/SSSTS qualifications.
- Contract Position: This is a contract position offering a competitive rate for the successful candidate.
