Art Teacher Opportunity

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in Oxfordshire. This is a 12-month maternity cover position, providing a chance to make a lasting impact on the school community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the curriculum to pupils in KS 3/4/5 year groups, fostering a love for art and creativity.
  • Maintain the school's core values and ethos, both within and outside the classroom.
  • Plan engaging lessons to meet the needs of pupils, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.
  • Set clear targets for pupils, based on prior attainment, to ensure they reach their full potential.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Assessed as a good or outstanding teacher
  • Relevant specialist qualifications and experience in art and design
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
