Job Title: Aspiring School-Based SEN Psychologist

Location: Haringey

Salary: Competitive

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Aspiring School-Based SEN Psychologist in Haringey. This role offers a unique opportunity to support students with special educational needs and contribute to the development of a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with SEN staff and teachers to provide comprehensive support to students with special educational needs.
  2. Assist in identifying students who require additional psychological support and develop strategies to improve their emotional, social, and academic outcomes.
  3. Work closely with teachers and school staff to monitor student progress and adjust plans accordingly.
  4. Provide one-on-one and group support sessions to students facing emotional, behavioral, or learning challenges.
  5. Support the creation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral management strategies.
  6. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of SEN programs.
  7. Work closely with external specialists, parents, and guardians to ensure the holistic support of each student.
Requirements:
  1. A strong interest in pursuing a career in Educational Psychology or SEN support.
  2. Relevant qualifications in psychology, education, or a related field.
  3. Experience working with children, preferably in a school or SEN setting.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach.
  5. Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
  6. Strong organizational skills and adaptability.
  7. Commitment to professional growth and development.
  8. Valid DBS and right to work document.
