About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial company that values autonomy and career growth. As a Residential Land Buyer, you will be tasked with identifying and purchasing land for development, working closely with the Land Director and the existing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and acquire land in the West Midlands and Warwickshire regions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with landowners and agents
  • Conduct site visits and due diligence on potential land acquisitions
  • Prepare and present land acquisition proposals to the Land Director and senior management
  • Work collaboratively with the development team to ensure smooth land acquisition and development processes

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in a property-related field
  • 12-18 months post-graduation experience working in residential property, ideally for a house builder
  • Demonstrable track record of sourcing and buying land in the West Midlands and Warwickshire regions
  • Strong understanding of the planning application and appeals process
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently from the rest of the team
  • Determined, hungry, and ambitious individual with a strong network of contacts in the land agency world
