Position: Forklift Operator - Cold Storage Specialist

Compensation: £12.60 per hour

Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am-4:30pm and 9am-6:30pm (rotating weekly shifts)

Saturday Hours: 7am-3:30pm/4pm

Please be aware that the working environment involves cold storage, with temperatures maintained between 2-6 degrees Celsius.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the counterbalance forklift to load and unload products.
  • Pick and prepare crates/boxes of dairy products including milk, cream, butter, yogurt, and cheese.
  • Retrieve orders from the printing system.
  • Organize items onto pallets efficiently.
  • Wrap orders securely and transport them to the designated loading area.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Lift items weighing up to 14kg as necessary.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
