UK Employment Tax Manager Job Opportunity

ProTalent is working with a top-tier accountancy firm to find a skilled UK Employment Tax Manager for their Bromley practice.

The firm:

  • Has a strong presence in the UK with a network of offices.
  • Offers a wide range of business advisory and accounting services.
  • Provides a supportive and fulfilling work environment.
  • Emphasizes flexible working arrangements.

The role:

  • Will involve dealing with employment taxes, both advisory and compliance.
  • Will require handling various employment tax matters, including P11D, PSA, termination payments, IR35, and PAYE/NIC risk reviews.
  • Will involve managing Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme ('CJRS') reviews.
  • Will require delivering employment tax projects and assignments in accordance with the firm's standard procedures and quality standards.
  • Will involve building relationships with clients and identifying tax planning opportunities.
  • Will require managing, supervising, supporting, and developing junior colleagues within the team.
  • Will involve supporting the team with the successful delivery of internal and external presentations.
  • Will require researching and preparing proposals for new work.

The successful applicant:

  • Should be CTA qualified or have equivalent experience.
  • Should have solid UK employment tax experience and effective team leadership skills.
  • Should have excellent organisational skills.
  • Should be able to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Should have project management experience and the ability to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Should have staff supervision experience and the ability to train junior team members.
