Electronics Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Systems Specialist to join our European Machine Systems team in Peterborough. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge machine control system technology for construction machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose electronic, software, and hardware controller and sensor issues on development machines, test beds, and dSPACE HIL.
- Be involved in the electronic installation appraisal of engine ECU for machine sign-off.
- Plan, develop, and execute validation activities to mitigate project risk and ensure solutions are verified and validated for market introduction.
- Identify and resolve issues found during product development, assembly, and post-production implementation.
- Conduct control system tuning and calibration activities on test benches and/or on test beds/machines to achieve desired system performance.
- Plan and execute verification and validation testing for electronics/control system software in SiL, HiL, or on-test bed or development machines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electronics/control system issues encountered during engine or power system running.
Requirements:
- Three years plus of experience in Automotive, Off-Highway, machine/engine/EV control system development (or comparable automotive, marine, or military vehicle control systems).
- Three to six years' experience of diesel engines with a strong technical background primarily in construction equipment, automotive.
