Project Engineer - Civil Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Dartford, Kent. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of projects in Greater London and the wider UK.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, and at least 8 years of experience in a Civil Engineering capacity. You will have a strong understanding of structures and be able to utilise digital engineering models to provide information for visual method statements and task sheets.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and ensuring compliance with the Laing O'Rourke Management of Temporary Works procedure on projects
  • Interrogating and transferring setting out data from 3D CAD data
  • Determining requirements for and formatting of as-built surveys and reports
  • Ensuring project and company quality procedures are adhered to
  • Utilising and recommending best engineering methods
  • Design process knowledge
  • Producing and approving method statements and risk assessments
  • Procurement
  • Management of a team of 2-4 Senior Engineers (project dependent)
