Job Description

**Job Title:** Mould Maintenance Technician

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at TQR Consultancy Ltd. The successful candidate will work with our moulding team to repair and customize parts, providing toolroom-based support for the repair of mould tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the toolroom and other work areas.
  • Respond to emergencies by working overtime when required.
  • Use in-house facilities efficiently to repair and maintain injection moulding tools.
  • Recognized Apprenticeship or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or Maintenance Engineering (minimum level 3 / HND).
  • Proven experience working to Maintenance Technician level within either Manufacturing, Engineering, The Armed Forces or Automotive (Vehicle Technicians) will all be considered.
  • Resourceful problem solver coupled with good knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office suite and other IT systems.

Requirements:

  • Immediate right to work in the UK.
  • Experience gained from within hot running injection moulding would be highly beneficial, but not essential.

Working Hours:

The successful candidate must be able to commit to a 3 on 3 off day shift comprising of 07:00 to 19:00. The salary advertised is inclusive of 20% shift premium.
