We are seeking an experienced Residential Deputy Manager to join our team at North Lakes Children's Services.

Role: Residential Deputy Manager

Contract: Full Time, permanent

Salary: Up to £33,112.56 (including sleep in shifts)

Location: Penrith

Working Hours: 42 hours per week - shift pattern on rotation

As a Residential Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the children's home. This will include managing staff, ensuring the highest standards of care, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for the young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Home Manager in the management of the children's home
  • Manage and supervise staff to ensure high standards of care
  • Develop and implement care plans for young people
  • Ensure the home is safe and secure at all times
  • Work closely with other agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for young people

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a residential children's setting
  • Qualifications in childcare or a related field
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with young people and staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
