Litigation Specialist - Personal Injury Law

Role Summary

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a prestigious law firm recognized for its excellence in providing specialized legal counsel to both corporate entities and individual clients.

As the Personal Injury division continues to expand, the firm is looking to recruit a Litigation Specialist who will take charge of their own portfolio of pre-litigation and post-litigation Employer's Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) cases.

The successful applicant will be a qualified Solicitor or CILEx professional (NQ - 4 years PQE) or a seasoned Fee Earner adept at managing a litigated caseload from initiation through to resolution. Your daily responsibilities will include overseeing a comprehensive caseload primarily consisting of Fast Track claims, with some exposure to Multi Track claims.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in handling a caseload of EL/PL claims (either pre or post litigation)
  • Strong grasp of the Civil Procedure Rules
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage a diverse caseload
  • Capable of working collaboratively within a team as well as independently
  • Exceptional legal acumen and leadership capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Professional and effective interaction with colleagues and clients
