Job Title: Data Engineer

Finatal is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join their innovative team, working on a major data transformation project. As a key member of the Data Platform team, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines from diverse sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop data pipelines using DBT and Python libraries such as PySpark, Pandas, and Snowpark.
  • Implement real-time data quality checks, validations, and alerts across data pipelines.
  • Manage CI/CD workflows with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Kubernetes.
  • Champion best practices in data engineering and DataOps methodologies.
  • Collaborate with the Data Architect to ensure data is clean, reliable, and delivered according to best practices.
Requirements:
  • Advanced expertise in SQL across multiple platforms.
  • Exceptional technical ability with proficiency in DBT and Python libraries.
  • Strong knowledge of API integration and JSON transformation.
  • Experience with event streaming and orchestration platforms.
  • Proficient with CI/CD principles and Git-based workflows.
