Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Site Agent/Manager to lead our project team in the installation of a large site compound. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall project, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the project team, including excavator and machine drivers.
  • Oversee the removal of vegetation and excavation works.
  • Ensure the installation of hard standing and palisade fencing is completed to high standards.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and manage project schedules and budgets.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a Site Agent or similar role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Valid certifications and qualifications relevant to the role.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant Tickets/Certifications:
    • CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
    • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
    • First Aid at Work
    • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
