Key Qualifications for the HGV Class 2 Operator:

  • At least 18 months of recent HGV driving experience (Category C) is preferred.
  • Ability to perform multi-drop deliveries alongside a driver's mate.
  • A CSCS Card is advantageous.
  • Must possess a valid CPC and digital tachograph.
  • No more than 6 penalty points on driving license (excluding DR or IN codes).

Position Details:

  • Compensation: £16 per hour for regular hours / £18.75 per hour for overtime / £18.75 per hour for weekend shifts.
  • Working Schedule: Monday to Friday with early starts; weekend work may be available.
  • Employment Type: Ongoing position with the potential for permanent placement for suitable candidates.

Responsibilities of the HGV Class 2 Operator:

  • Execute multi-drop deliveries and installations with assistance from a driver's mate.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and ensure safe completion of delivery routes.
