Position Type:
Part-time, 5 afternoons per week

Role Summary:

In the capacity of an Interim Facilities Manager, you will be instrumental in maintaining the operational efficiency of the school environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular assessments of the facilities to promptly identify and rectify any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Executing minor repairs and maintenance tasks, or liaising with external service providers as necessary.
  • Overseeing security protocols, which encompass securing premises, monitoring surveillance systems, and addressing any security alerts.
  • Keeping precise documentation of maintenance activities, inventory of equipment, and health and safety evaluations.
  • Assisting with facility-related initiatives and renovations as directed by the school administration.
  • Providing assistance during special occasions or emergencies, such as snow clearance or building evacuations.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong practical abilities in maintenance, repairs, and facilities oversight.
  • Excellent communication skills and the capability to collaborate effectively with staff, contractors, and external partners.
