About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of a Tesco store, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and team performance.
  • Coordinate and manage the store team, providing guidance and support to achieve sales and customer service targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve store efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and community groups to promote Tesco's values and services.
  • Monitor and control store expenses, inventory, and stock levels to optimize profitability.
  • Collaborate with store managers and other departments to achieve business objectives and drive growth.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in a retail or customer-facing role, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive results.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, inventory control, and store layout.
