Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at ATA Recruitment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting Predictive Maintenance (PPMs) and responding to breakdowns to minimize downtime and ensure optimal plant performance.
- Working on mechanical components, including belts, conveyors, hoppers, hydraulics, bearings, pneumatics, wrappers, and dryers, to maintain the plant's mechanical systems.
- Conducting electrical responsibilities, including fault finding on 3-phase motors, PLCs, inverters, AC/DC drives, and relays, to ensure the plant's electrical systems are functioning correctly.
- Identifying areas for improvement and implementing projects to enhance plant efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
- A Level 3 NVQ in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Previous experience in working on electrical and mechanical components.
- The ability to work flexible shift patterns.
- Background experience in fault finding on PLCs and in control panels.
