About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Finance team as a Finance Systems Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside our Finance Systems Manager and contribute to the maintenance and development of our finance, payroll, and expense systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality computer application support and solutions to complex day-to-day issues in the Finance & Payroll Service Centre.
  • Assist with data quality matters related to the NHS HR/Payroll system.
  • Contribute to the development of work-structure functions of the NHS HR/Payroll system.
  • Maintain local database solutions required by the Trust and client organisations.
  • Assist with the maintenance of various HR/Payroll and Financial systems, including Mercur, Payview, and E-Expenses.
  • Maintain system infrastructure control documentation.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior supervisory role within a Public Sector Finance/Payroll Department.
  • Expert knowledge of Windows-based applications.
  • Skilled knowledge of a computerised payroll system.
  • Expert knowledge of computerised Finance systems.
