Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will take charge of system-level Analog Mixed Signal verification and power integrity for next-generation microcontrollers and wireless solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to sub-system and chip-level AMS and spice simulations for SoCs.
- Collaborate closely with SoC design, architecture, and analog design teams.
- Analyze and comprehend SoC specifications and IO Manager.
- Plan and review AMS and spice simulations with SoC teams.
- Conduct PI/SI simulations, including die pad ring, package, and PCB models.
- Lead and contribute to the development of PISI and AMS simulation methodologies and workflows.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with over 12 years of experience.
- Proficient in sub-system and chip-level AMS and spice simulations.
- Strong understanding of analog IPs such as Buck, LDO, ADC/DAC, PLL, and BG.
- Experience with simulation tools like Cadence, Questa ADMS, Spectre, HSPICE, or similar.
- Skilled in troubleshooting silicon issues.
- Ability to review and interpret chip-level electrical specifications and requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a global team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in spice simulations and circuit-level debugging is advantageous.
- Familiarity with SI/PI simulations.
- Knowledge of IO functionality, Ethernet, DDR, etc., is a plus.
