Prospectus is excited to assist our client in the search for a Housing Operations Manager for Supported Living. This organization is a charitable housing association operating across various regions, dedicated to aiding individuals requiring care and those unable to afford housing at market rates.

They achieve their mission by developing numerous essential new homes and providing care and supported housing services to a diverse population.

The Housing Operations Manager will oversee the daily management of multiple supported housing schemes tailored for individuals facing homelessness and complex challenges.

This role is vital in ensuring that the services offered are trauma-informed and adhere to the Making Every Adult Matter (MEAM) principles.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the performance and oversight of services, including supported housing and community outreach/support initiatives.
  • Ensure financial oversight and the delivery of high-quality, suitable support.
  • Comply with policies/procedures, health & safety regulations, and risk management protocols.
  • Facilitate service development, including leading operational efforts to create new services and enhance existing ones.
  • Work collaboratively with Scheme Managers to ensure that team meetings effectively tackle key operational matters.
  • Develop and assess annual service plans in line with the strategic objectives of the Supported Housing department.

This position is part of the middle management team and involves direct supervision of two scheme managers, emphasizing a trauma-informed and psychologically sensitive approach to service delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in establishing formal partnerships with other organizations, developing operational procedures, and addressing safeguarding concerns. A current NVQ Level 5 Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent is required or a willingness to pursue this qualification.
