Overview: Our client, a leading provider in the commercial property sector, focusing on small office spaces, workshops, and self-storage solutions, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance of various units across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic property repairs, including addressing drain issues and replacing flooring materials.
- Conduct regular checks on facilities, ensuring lighting is functional and replacing bulbs as needed.
- Test fire safety equipment and participate in compliance training provided by the company.
- Assist in general refurbishment projects and the removal of outdated furnishings.
Qualifications:
- Experience in facilities management is preferred, but strong handyman and DIY skills are essential.
- A willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development.
Work Environment: This position is primarily based in a central location, with travel required to various sites as needed. A company vehicle and necessary tools will be supplied.
Employment Type: This is a full-time, permanent role, requiring 39 hours of work per week, Monday through Friday.
